Congratulations to our Top 12 Pets 

Throughout the year Murray Hills Solicitors are raising money and awareness for our chosen charity of 2019 –  MNDa Scarborough & Bridlington group. As part of this we are doing lots of activities, holding various events and undertaking different challenges many of which you can read about on our website  ‘News’ section . 

As this charity is particularly close to our hearts we decided to step out of our comfort zone and try something we have never done before, a calendar. Having no experience in these things we turned to friendly, professional local photographer Emma Addison who very kindly agreed to  help us and this amazing charity. 

We knew that we wanted to create a pet calendar and once we had all the details in place we began the hunt for 12 wonderful pets to fill the months and so the Facebook competition began. We had hundreds of  fantastic entries from dogs to hedgehogs, horses to axolotl and everything else in between. From this brilliant menagerie the judges had the very difficult task of choosing just 24 finalists. These finalists and their owners where invited to Emma’s studio for a fun photo-shoot which involved lots of treats, tin baths, wooden crates, funny noises, attention seeking dances, fuss and more. 

After a month of meeting these amazing pets and taking many stunning photos the judges picked their favourite photo of each from the shoots and these went to the public vote, and WOW, the public voted in their thousands, 9,045 in fact!

At the end of all the excitement the votes were counted and we have our winners; the 12 superstars who will be featured in the 2020 calendar. Please join us in saying a huge  CONGRATULATIONS to:-
