A Great Big Thank You
We would like to
say a great big thank you to everyone who attended the Refurbishment and
Macmillan Coffee event on Tuesday 8th November at our head office on King
Street in Bridlington.
Murray Hills Solicitors office is a grade 2
listed building, one of the oldest in King Street.
The
Directors made the decision to restore and renovate bringing the same
up to modern standards while still keeping many of the buildings existing
charms.
Managing Director Mr Keith Murray said
“We took the decision to refurbish
the office to provide a comfortable working environment for our staff and warm
friendly atmosphere for our clients. The building has stood the test of time
but in need of updating and modernisation.”
The three hour event ran from 12-3pm and
officially opened by Bridlington Mayor, Cllr. Liam Dealtry, with a
cutting of the ribbon
Despite the cold
November weather the Bridlington community came out in force to support the
event which was being held to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support as well
as giving people the opportunity to see the new look office situated in the
towns centre.
Keith Murray added
“Macmillan Cancer Support is a
charity close to the hearts of many of our staff and we hold a coffee
morning every year. We hoped that combining the two events would generate
more interest and therefore help us to raise as much as possible for the
charity. We had a wide selection of homemade cakes and buns and served tea and
coffee to all that attended. It was a great success and I would like to thank
the Mayor for officially opening the event and to everyone that attended”
The grand total raised for Macmillan
Cancer Support is an impressive
£252.06
We would once again like to thank everyone who
attended, supported the event and donated to Macmillan.
