Murray Hills Solicitors are very happy to be sponsoring Hull and East Riding disability sports awards at KC Stadium on Friday 20th May 2016. The inaugural awards comes back for its 3rd year to celebrate and acknowledge the achievements of those involved in local disability sport.

Hull is one of only three cities in the UK which holds its own Disability Sports awards and as well as celebrating the achievements of disabled sports athletes and offers a chance to pay tribute to the ‘unsung heroes’ who help to make the disability sports community in Hull so strong. The event also raises much needed funds for disability sports in the Hull and East Riding area.

A little about Wheelchair Sports Hull

Wheelchair Sports Hull was set up to raise the profile of disability sport in Hull and East Riding and to help disabled people participate in sport. They provide funding, support, and promote disability sport clubs and athletes. Every penny that is raised goes directly to disability sports in Hull and East Riding.

Since being established WCSH have given out over £15,000 to athletes and disability sport clubs in Hull. They hold a number of fundraising events across the year promoting disability sports while raising much needed funds for the disability sports in the area. WCSH could not do this without you.

After, the success of London 2012 Paralympic Games Daryl Jones, Founder of Wheelchair Sports Hull wanted to give praise to athletes and clubs in a manner that nobody had thought of hence disability sports awards was created and is now in its third successful year.

Daryl Jones said “We are thrilled to welcome Murray Hills Solicitors to our list of supporters. With the Paralympic games just around the corner disability sports in our area will be set with sponsorship from businesses like Murray Hills Solicitors – the support allows us to keep hundreds of disabled people in sport each year.
