Hull Marathon

In 2014 Chris Hutchinson, Director and Solicitor at Murray Hills, ran the London Marathon, despite vowing to never run another he recently attended a presentation by the Alzheimer’s Society and was so impressed by their dedication and passion he decided to run the Hull Marathon to raise money for them.

The RB Hull Marathon takes place on Sunday 13th September and takes a 26.2 mile course through Kingston Upon Hull, more information, including the route, can be found on their website http://www.thehullmarathon.co.uk/

Chris said “I was very impressed by the passion shown by the speakers at the event, and also by the fact that in addition to the support services they offer, one of the main aims of the charity is to fund research with a view to ultimately discovering a cure for dementia. Many of us have experience of friends or relatives who have had to deal with the problems that dementia causes for both the individual suffering the disease and the members of his or her family. Imagine the suffering that would be avoided if one day a cure is found. I think it is a great charity”

The Alzheimer’s Society support people affected by dementia, providing information, care and assistance. More information about the society and their work can be found on their website http://www.alzheimers.org.uk/

Please show your support for Mr Hutchinson and If you would like to donate to this wonderful charity it would be gratefully received and can be made at our offices or via the Just Giving site http://www.justgiving.com/Chris-MurrayHills
